If you want something really, really bad...

This is crazy. Outside it`s playing long, hot summer and when I went to mow the lawn I did so in a tiny top and shorts but in my room I have to wear a thick cardigan. Which would be acceptable if this nice cooling effect actually lasted through the scorching parts of summer. But by then it will be a hothouse, just like last year. That`s what you get for living in old houses. They take time to soak in the warmth but once they do, you bake in them. *headdesk*

Argh, for four years I have been slaving away at this puzzle from hell - okay loooong periods of not doing anything - and finally, finally it is done and the last piece is fucking missing. So UNFAIR. Waaaah.

Also, got another refusal letter today. At least they were nice enough to send my documents back. Which is more than I can say for the Jobcenter S.hausen who didn`t even bother to let me know one way or another after my interview there. *headdesk*
I guess it is another dig into the savings then for the Con. Sigh.

What the fuck, after years upon years of getting the "just sound" treatment from my media player I finally believed I had all necessary codecs to play every shit available. But no, this one new type of avi.file won`t cooperate. In no player whatsoever. Googled solution? Get DivX. I have DivX so SHUT UP, Google.
And my searcher-program helpfully tells me I have everything all neatly installed. If I did, don`t you think the file would work, stupid program? *headdesk*

Question for all vidding-versed people, am I too stupid or is it just not possible in Movie Maker to do voice overs from other clips AND music at once? I know how to have the music and audio from the clip I`m using but I have seen other vids using some cool voice overs and for the life of me, I can`t figure out how. Probably need a better editing programme than poor old movie maker, don`t I?

In other news I have now made the wrestling on the bed from "Tall Tales" my new wallpaper. It looks kind of naughty. My mother wanted to look something up on my latptop and gave it - and me - a weird look. Hee.

Hm, Revelations - was that the one with Bill Pullman that got cancelled after like 2 episodes? Or do I mix that up with another Bible-y show?
Anyway, seeing as Premiere will air that over Christmas, can anybody tell me if that show is a) entertaining and a victim of early cancellation, b) too plain to form an opinion about it, c) bad but funny-bad or d) stay the hell away from it - bad? Because I like Bill Pullman and would feel compelled to watch.

Watched Into the West again and OMG, this one Wheeler-family lived in Lawrence, Kansas - where they all proceeded to get slaughtered in some civil war skirmish. Didn`t know the town had so much bad karma. Heck, I had never heard of it before SPN. Yet since then I`ve noticed it pop up in several movies/shows.
Was however reminded again how much I`d like to see Christian Kane on the show. Or Jensen on horseback. Whichever. ;-)

Aaaand, new eppy this week. Yay.
