Question for all vidding-versed people, am I too stupid or is it just not possible in Movie Maker to do voice overs from other clips AND music at once? I know how to have the music and audio from the clip I`m using but I have seen other vids using some cool voice overs and for the life of me, I can`t figure out how. Probably need a better editing programme than poor old movie maker, don`t I?

In other news I have now made the wrestling on the bed from "Tall Tales" my new wallpaper. It looks kind of naughty. My mother wanted to look something up on my latptop and gave it - and me - a weird look. Hee.

Hm, well the one time I did that I first vidded, saved it with the original sound file. Then I used Audacity to overlay that sound with a song, and adjusted whether I want dialogue or the tune in the foreground. Then I save it as one file, and put that sound file over the original vid. (Am I making sense?) I guess there must be a easier way but I dunno how :-)

Oh, creating a sound file first through vidding it, I hadn`t thought of that. Cool, that could work. Thanks. It looks really stupid when the characters move their mouths to the music but I don`t want the actual dialogue in there. I haven`t vidded in so long but suddenly I really wanted to.

Know the feeling. I don't particularly see myself as a vidder (or a good one even) but every now and then I just get this craving to vid *lol*

Not really a vidder either, for me it usually happens when I find a song I like. And I have to really, really like it because when vidding I have to hear it on constant loop to synchronize the video bits. For hours. :)

Could I send you CD with some of my stuff sometime? Sadly I can`t upload and why all the effort if noone ever sees it.

I have no idea how to either make icons or wallpapers. I just wait for other talented people to make them and then I steal. :)

And woohoo, your suggestion for the voiceovers worked. I got it lip-synchronized and all. Sadly in the span of seconds Sam now speaks one octave higher. Damn.
Maybe for a funny vid though. *g*
