Meet the loser who didn't get around to start her Bigbang draft - due today with no less than 20.000 words - last Sunday. Yesterday when I got home from work, I was at 9.000 words and despairing. This lovely Friday afternoon I'm looking loud and proud at 20.307 words (and still counting a little bit). Granted, it's gibberish and if someone would actually read that, they'd probably adivce me to break my typing fingers but it is a turn-in-able draft. Yay.

Now look forward to the editing process from hell. Hopefully my posting date will be way at the end of the schedule. *crosses fingers*

Holy crap! That's impressive!

I'm so happy you're making a Big Bang, btw. I can't wait to read it! Can you believe that I'm more excited about June and July because of Big Bang than, let's say, because of Summer?

And the sad thing is, I did the same dance last year and when I signed up this time I promised myself to start earlier today so I wouldn't have to type out 10k in one day. Famous last words. :D

Yeah, I'm really pumped for this. Because of work even my reading fic level has dropped drasically those last few weeks so I still have to catch up on the Disney Challenge.

Of course before that can happen I have to finish my Disney fics, plus the rom com one and poor abandoned Horseman epilogue. Summer? I guess it will be work, work, work for me. *g*

Heh, thanks. Of course it's basically "get the word count up" and less words that actually make sense together in what one would call a cohesive storyline. But that's what editing is for. :D

LOL< I'm so with you. I mean, we started ours months ago, but hadn't written anything on it since February. I wrote 6000 words since yesterday, which is a lot for me.

But yeah, it's total utter crap.

I'm also praying for an end post date. I hope they don't take people who've done it before and stick them at the beginning of the roster. I might have to plan a vacation and be out of town if that's the case. LOL.

Normally if I make 3000 a day, I consider it good progress. Of course then I actually take care on what I write. When I'm forced to simply type I let myself go and do it, carefully choosing your words be damned. :)

Actually my back hurts more. And my eyes from staring at the screen for so long. God, I won't write a word tomorrow, even though I have so much fic yet to finish.

But yeah, I managed. And promise to myself again that if I do it next year, I will be more disciplined. Sigh.

I finished mine yesterday at 43,700, but your achievement is far more impressive :-)

But see, you actually were disciplined in writing it to get to such a word count and not have to make last dash type sessions. That is exactly what I wanted to do. Teach me, Obi Legolinobi. *g*

For some reason the ticking clock inspired me to get writing. I had ALL last week to write and didn't feel like it. Now I do...weird.

Heh, yes, I totally know the feeling. I'm a "pressure"-writer, though I don't really wanna be one. *g*

Oh, yay! What type of story is it? I can't wait to read it, whatever it is. :-)

It is SPN slash which I've never really written before so I'm quite nervous about it. But I debated on whether going with my safe option of J2 or this and decided to challenge myself. :D

Ist aber kein J2 sondern in einer Weltpremiere für mich SPN Slash. Wenn du willst kannst du ja mal im Claiming Post am Montag raten, welche durchgeknallte Summary/Titel meinem gestressten Hirn entsprungen ist. :D

Für die Überarbeitung/Umschreibung hab ich mir jetzt mal ein 2 Wochen Limit gesetzt, mal sehen, ob's was hilft. Bis jetzt gefällt mir grad mal der Prolog. *g*

Gute Frage. Zu lange warten dürfen wir mit dem Flug zumindest ja auch nicht. Also spätestens im Juni würd ich dann buchen wollen, oder? Zumindest geht's ja nicht nach Mexico. *g*
