Am trying to get caught up on spn_j2_bigbang reading like crazy. So many good stuff to be had. So little time. I haven`t even gotten around to comment on everything I have managed to read. *sigh*

In anyways, there is a good variety to be found, I read absolutely lovely J2, wonderful Gen, intriguing Wincest and one story labeled Het (which, if people are wary about checking it out would be a shame because it really is wonderful WeeChester Gen intermixed with a case story and only slight references to a hook-up in the past).

God, I`m really, really apprehensive about mine this time in ways I haven`t been with my last few fics because...just cause. I fear it`s going to suck, be a crushing disappointment for everybody and henceforth I`ll be the Pariah of the fanfic world. *bottom lip wibbles*

But at least one summary of the already posted fics sounded quite similar to mine and I thought "fuck". `Haven`t read the fic yet though so maybe it`s only superficial. Otherwise it`s kinda like showing up at a party - dressed like someone else. *headdesk*

Oh, hells no. My fic is destine to be the rotten egg that spoils the batch. I've rewritten just about every word, and it still sucks moldy dog logs. If I didn't have a wonderful artist, I'd just not post. Let 'em send the posting police after me.

Heh. I try to envision what the posting police would look like. *g*

But seeing as I`m the kind of person who is terrified of heights yet once climbed up on the 5-meter (around 17 feet) jumping board in our public swimming pool and actually jumped down because I would have been too embarassed to climb back down, I`m likely to post anyway. Sigh.

Oh yeah, I'll definitely post. I have to after all the work my betas and the artist have put in, but I read so many posts last year by people who threw their bigbang out there and got like no comments, and I'm just bracing for that. I mean, hell, I once spent four months on a fic that got a whopping five comments. I can do it again, but I'd really rather not. Actually, I'd rather disappear into the ether than do that again. Maybe I will... lol.
