*pokes head in* Yup, it`s me, the poster child for "Dude, where is my update?" I come bearing news, one good, one bad and one poll. (That sounded better in my head. *g*)

Anyways lets start with the bad news: no update of "Horseman" today depsite my promises to that regard. *hangs head*
Now onto the good news: the story is written in its entirety by which I mean the first unbetaed draft is done. So things are looking up.

Which reminds me I still have to read the latest chapter...though to be honest I skimmed it and there was lots of sex and I think I got the point why Jensen did it so I guess I can move on from here :-p

It honestly was just the one scene at the end that had sex. :) Before that it`s all exposition, exposition, exposition. I almost tore my hair out in writing. :D

Honestly? Not to much, I am very clumsy when it comes to writing sex scenes. And this was only my second/third in total.

I don't really mind following WsiP, but in terms of my own writing I am VEHEMENTLY anti-WiP. So I went with finished fic FTW because I just personally like it so much better as a writer. *g*

Awws, I'm the worst person to ask, since I almost never read WIPs anymore, but as a writer, I know the continued feedback from readers can be really motivating. So, whatever works best for you. I have been waiting for it to be finished before I read, but I have been watching for that COMPLETE notice to pop up. LOL.

Erm, I dunno. Feedback on WIPs can be motivating, also a double-edged sword, because I've been sidelined on a plot a few times when people suddenly stopped commenting and I had to wonder where I went wrong and whether it was worthwhile to continue. Erm, yeah, up to you. *smishes*

I think for the future I won`t start posting until I have enough fic finished and beta-ed to give me some breathing room and still manage regular updates.
While I do read WIPs myself, I know the feeling of excitedly checking for updates everyday. :) And it`s worse when the fic looks to be abandoned.

Nö. :) Teil 6 ist grad erst rausgegangen, sollte eigentlich gestern abend noch passieren aber dann hat mein Modem abgeschlafft und jetzt bin ich wieder am Ausweichcompi.
Deswegen kommt Teil 7 wahrscheinlich auch erst morgen oder so wenn ich nochmal drübergeschaut hab.

Kein Streß. Ich hink eh mit dem Updaten hinterher, da kommt es auf ein paar Tage hie und da auch nicht an. Und wenn du im Moment zuviel um die Ohren hast, ein Emergency-Beta hat sich schon gemeldet. Wohl eher um das Teil endlich mal zu lesen aber immerhin. :D

Räumen dauert ja noch eine ganze Weile. Vermutlich zieh ich erst im April um. Aber damit im April Möbel kommen, muss ich am Samstag mal einkaufen gehen - und mein Erspartes dezimieren : /

I've been burned so many times in the past with WIPs that never get finished that I tend to stay away from unfinished stories unless I get really intrigued by the premise and whether I know the author or not.
It's what happened with Horseman and I don't regret reading the story as WIP...you've been fantastic with your updates. Every day I refresh my flist hoping for the next part :) And it's actually kind of fun! *hugs*

I know the feeling. Especially when I get really emotionally invested in a story and then it just stops.

It's what happened with Horseman and I don't regret reading the story as WIP...you've been fantastic with your updates. Every day I refresh my flist hoping for the next part :) And it's actually kind of fun! *hugs*

Aww. Thank you. I had planned on being finished weeks ago but sometimes real life throws in a curve ball or twenty. And of course the ending is always tricky because it`s sad to get into a fic and read the end and go "huh, well, that didn`t do it justice at all". So *wibble*

I`m so grateful for everybody hanging in there patiently. Not too long now, just my other beta having some other stuff up first and since she held my hand all through the fic I don't wanna do this without her.
