Yay, did watch all the Chicago panel clips finally and the cuteness is just on overload.
About the "incident" - I did feel bad for Jared because a) it was an awkward, non-flattering question in the first place (and non-sensical for TV) and b) the wording didn`t make it better. He looked kind of helpless for a moment and seeing as he seems to be an overgrown puppy who just wants to be fun for everyone, it wasn`t a nice thing to do. Makes me determined to say or make that stutter something very nice to him at Asylum. Provided he and I will be there. :)
But seriously so much sweetness all around. *squishes them*

Date: 2007-11-14 03:51 pm (UTC)I get the nervousness, totally I do. I only mustered up the courage to ask Jensen a question by thinking of it hours before and then memorizing the way I wanted to phrase it. :)
But there was a longish pause between Jared coming on stage and her asking the question in which I felt she had enough time to realize she`be talking to Jared now.
And I really did think when Jensen came back and he related the question, in the moment where they whispered to each other, Jared looked unhappy about it.

Date: 2007-11-14 03:54 pm (UTC)He was very gracious about it but I felt uncomfortable watching it. And then Jensen came back on stage Jared asked him about it - obviously it had stayed on his mind - and they were whispering something to each other where Jared did look a bit hurt. Made me feel bad for him.
Nicely though Jensen in answering stood up for Jared.

Date: 2007-11-14 04:00 pm (UTC)What I minded was when Jared stepped on the stage with the "anonymous" question, the woman that yelled something at him and how he played all cringy...

Date: 2007-11-14 04:11 pm (UTC)And there was enough time between Jared coming on stage and her being called on for her question.
Basically I just felt bad because later on Jared did sport a little hurt look. Of course the actors always make these things into jokes and play over them but I imagine it can still sting.

Date: 2007-11-14 06:48 pm (UTC)But I liked that, when Jensen came back on stage and Jared asked him the question, he was all bitchy. Everybody who was there said they got the feeling, Jensen heard the rude girl and that's why he behaved all pissed and bitchy to that question. I love that :-)

Date: 2007-11-14 09:22 pm (UTC)It`s so cute how they complement each other and help each other out. Jared draws the attention from shy Jensen and Jensen`s dry wit feasts off of Jared`s joyous attitude.
As a kid I was so bummed to find that the leads in my shows didn`t like each other (Remington Steele etc) so it`s kinda sweet they are as much off-screen as on-screen.

Date: 2007-11-15 12:35 am (UTC)My disillusionment was MASH. I was living abroad and reruns were the only english show in the nights, and my dad explained that the reason for the major cast change was that main characters hated each other... That and Star Trek.

Though the fan who brought up "fanfiction" made me sink down in my seat as well. It's the crazy fans that ruin it for everyone else.
But the guys were wonderful, and sweet and funny and the way it was handled on stage was very classy. Nice guys our fandom has.

Date: 2007-11-14 09:20 pm (UTC)Would have been for Jensen as well. I mean what kind of answer does one expect from somebody who is NOT a major jerk and who LIKES their co-star. "Yeah totally, I``m so burdened with this loser in my workplace"? Just all-around weird.
I think asking neutrally if there was improv in that scene like someone did earlier about the "sonofubatich" would have been just fine.

It didn`t bother me at Asylum because they know it exists and we know they know it but now it`s kinda: it was brought up, he was cute about it, move on.
It`s really a question where there isn`t much to say. They will hardly jump up and down and yell "yay, porn about us, I read it out loud at family gatherings" so what`s the point?
