I just thought the question ended up being all awkward because well, it implies he screwed up on the job. Not exactly what I would ask any actor. Why not ask if they did improv in that scene? And there was enough time between Jared coming on stage and her being called on for her question.
Basically I just felt bad because later on Jared did sport a little hurt look. Of course the actors always make these things into jokes and play over them but I imagine it can still sting.
