Ha, mid-Season 2 of Lost and I`ve finally found a consistent storyline I can follow. Not the monster, the hatch, the button or the love triangles. No, it`s like a weird game of tag.
Every few episodes some unlucky bastard takes up the role of persona non grata and all the other Lostaways perform this Klingon outcast ritual where they look upon him/her with contempt and then unanimously turn their backs to let him/her rot in shame by his/her little solitary fire on the beach.

And the best part? Past offenders are like doubly self-rightous and smug. It`s hilarious.

So anyway, can`t wait to see who`s next. Has Jack been tagged already?

The Lost-Sepcial on Premiere cracks me up.

They have a "TV-Expert" commenting on the greatness and well deserved success of the show because of its new and exciting ability to awesomely combine the real worldly stuff with supernatural elements.
Aha. Mind telling me then, why it is, that about 7 episodes into the Second Season, I`m bored to tears with BOTH? And somehow I don`t think I`m the only one.

He also commented on Evangeline Lilly as the one cast member with the brightest prospects for the future, because she conveys both vulnerability and toughness (and some might even say annoyingness *g*) and she has a fresh new face.
Hm, I don`t know about that. Kate Beckinsale used this face quite a bit in the last years. But maybe that`s just me. :-)

So I have just one question, how in the hell do you get to be a TV-Expert?

And can I please get this one in a room with [livejournal.com profile] mareen? I imagine this could be quite funny, in a "antilope is ripped to shreds by a lioness"-way. *g*

OMG, I heard talk about the suckiness of Lost`s Season 2, but since I`m easily pleased and can be very forgiving of shitty plotlines, I didn`t think I`d feel it as much.

Discussion of Lost as well as two little SPN thoughts (non spoilerish) behind the cut

Bored silly )

I recently read a Supernatural review where the reviewer stated that while he liked the storylines you couldn`t warm up to the characters.
Wow, the mind boggles. If I didn`t love these characters so much, I`d laugh some of the stories right off my TV screen.

Also he mentioned that while in need for a Supernatural show, surely audience would demand something more inventive and original like "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost"
Oh my, silly me, I`d never realized that DH is supposed to be a supernatural show. Well I guess that explains some of the otherworldly mysteries then, like why Susan isn`t getting beaten every episode for her annoying childishness, or why a mother of four still has model meassurements or how a spoiled trophy wife like Gabby would befriend people like Lynette and Susan in the first place.

As for the Lost-comment I`d like to introduce him to [livejournal.com profile] mareen to enlighten him on the subject what audiences would "surely demand".

I don`t have a problem with someone not liking this or any other show I favour but telling me what I would "surely" like better cracks me up. And not in a good way.
