Pimp-a-book

Just a wee update because as long as I keep my actual online time to about an hour, hour and a half a day, the computer troubles remain manageable. *sigh*

Response to the Harlequin-fic has been overwhelming. *dances* I was surprised, though, nobody remarked on the name Padacrest for a vineyard. Was I truly the only kid watching soaps in the 80s? *g*

Also, I`ve seen that one linked in a few places but as a meta-whore I wanted to take the opportunity to pimp it again: Some of us really do watch for the plot
It`s a fan-produced book, containing an awesome collection of Supernatural metas - and I`m not only saying that because I have an essay in there *g* - which is available at cafepress.

On the topic of books, has anyone gotten their hands on "Nevermore" yet and has read it?

There's a review of Nevermore over at [livejournal.com profile] ficwriter1966's journal.

Yay, not the only one. And I thought I would get laughed at for the name a lot. *g*

Funny you should mention that book. I just bought it! I didn't know you had an essay in it, but that just makes it much cooler.

Ego - ready for take-off. :) I`m such a meta-lover though, I think it`s awesome that fans organized a book like this.

I have the book and have read it, but I haven't written a review yet. I will soon. :-)

Also, yay for all the response to your story! :-D

Okay, looking forward to your review. From what I`ve read about it, it probably won`t be my cup-o-tea since I go mostly for the deep character exploration and that hardly is the case with tie-in novels. And I have a special dislike for obnoxious side characters when I don`t get a motivation for them.

hehe Yeah, it's more of an average tie-in novel than anything else. I finally wrote my review, but [livejournal.com profile] raloria wrote a better one. I'm going to link to it in a new post soon as soon as I get around to it, if she's not already on your flist.
