OMG, someone wrote a J2 version of Pillow Talk
This is one of my BIG childhood movies. And I just pictured Jared and Jensen in the Hudson/Day parts and giggled like mad. And of course it has "the apartment". *g*
I also feel very, very old. :-p But the matter of fact is, those old screwball comedies, even after 20 years, are still funny to me and much moreso than many modern comedy movies can ever hope to be.
Is it the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia or did they really make better movies back then?

I do think movies were better back then. Not everything was better about them, but I loved movies that had a real story and some substance--even the silly movies. Now movies are all about the Big Moment or the Big Joke and people don't even seem to notice that things don't make sense half the time.

Didn`t bother me back then that you only saw three aliens and a blurry planet but the characters could be cute and witty with each other and the story didn`t try to be more than a fairytale good vs. evil.
Now my eyes can feast on the crystal clear planet with millions of little things going on in the background. Doesn`t exactly help me stomach the dialogue.
