A fic rec and deep contemplation of the movie business :-p
OMG, someone wrote a J2 version of Pillow Talk
This is one of my BIG childhood movies. And I just pictured Jared and Jensen in the Hudson/Day parts and giggled like mad. And of course it has "the apartment". *g*
I also feel very, very old. :-p But the matter of fact is, those old screwball comedies, even after 20 years, are still funny to me and much moreso than many modern comedy movies can ever hope to be.
Is it the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia or did they really make better movies back then?

That`s certainly true. I also feel the term "star" has lost its true meaning. Now everyone who got his five minutes of fame is already called a "star."
I think what I miss about these old movies is a certain charm they had. It might look naive and simplistic nowadays but it was also enchanting. There are modern movies I love but very few of them manage to recapture that magic. Grantedly I have turned a lot more cynical too. :)
