That`s it, Vampire Diaries is going on my "I may watch it once the Season is over and I can see where it went" list.

This show used to be legitimately good from mid-Season 1 to all of Season 2, still enjoyable in Season 3 and admittedly I liked parts of Season 4. But this year, I`m sick of the writers aiming for the nadir of the nadir of storytelling - and succeeding every time. I just love annuling development for the lulz because that in no way makes me feel I wasted years watching it in the first place. *sarcasm* And their deluded interviews, obvious incapability to figure out what isn`t working and passive-aggressive asshole tweets. It`s like they think they are the SPN TPTB.

I knew dividing attention between running three shows would be too much but the old warhorse should be something of a self-ran, not an implosion. And The Tomorrow People ain`t good either, at least as long as they refuse to center it around John. That leaves The Originals which is legit good. But a batting average of 1 out of 3? Not that impressive.

Thank God Teen Wolf is currently rocking so hard.

This Season completely blows in my opinion. None of the stories come together, the new characters suck (including the twenty million doppelgangers of predictability) and the old ones are getting butchered.

Sure, I liked Elena much better in earlier Seasons and I loved early Season 1-Damon. In early Season 1. And if I want to watch that character, I can pop in a DVD. I don`t want or need the writers to snap their fingers, erase the last 4.5 years and make a re-do of Season 1, just much lamer.

Katherine was never nice but she also was never pathetic. Now she is the most pathetic person in the entirety of Mystic Falls. And there is some steep competition to beat out.

The only thing that remotely works is Stefan`s epic love for Damon right now. Theirs is the only relationship I care about. Sigh.

I honestly don't remember when I stopped watching, this season or sometime last??? Tells you something about how much I miss it. When I stopped, it had already gotten unwatchable for me because like SN they continue to repeat their storylines over and over again. I also stopped watching SN, and haven't seen anything of this season. I follow up on what is happening on it now and then but I don't feel as if I'm missing anything because I seem to have seen it all before.

I wonder about starting The Originals though, but then I hardly manage to watch the shows I actually watch atm. And I promised the BF to catch up on The Walking Dead so we can watch it together when it returns later this year.
We also plan to watch True Detective together, so I had to stop watching that, dammit! I absolutely loved the first episode. lol Honestly though, the only show right now I actually look forward to every week is Teen Wolf.

I didn`t have this problem with TVD up to starting Season 4 but by then recreating and resetting the triangle really got on my nerves. "Elena makes a choice about which brother she loves. Again."

Unfortunately this year even the stories surrounding it suck.

I also stopped watching SN, and haven't seen anything of this season. I follow up on what is happening on it now and then but I don't feel as if I'm missing anything because I seem to have seen it all before.

SPN has been cannibalizing its own canon and stories for years. I mean, the third showrunner and still it remains the same song, how uncanny is that?

I liked one episode this year which I think was the first episode ever in the entire show where the brothers had no contact whatsoever and completely split screentime. Poor Cas being stuck in awkward bonding scenes with Sam wasn`t my cuppa but the general principle of it, I loved. Never ever have them together again and this could be something.

I wonder about starting The Originals though, but then I hardly manage to watch the shows I actually watch atm.

I know the problems but the Originals has really been unexpected fun for me.

Honestly though, the only show right now I actually look forward to every week is Teen Wolf.

That`s where I am as well.
