Sleepy Hollow - love, love, love. Definite keeper.

Agents of Shield - it`s bland, generic and boring and everything I wouldn`t expect from a Whedon show. I mean, even Dollhouse generated a feeling for me: hatred. This one? Somehow I`m feeling so confused because I SHOULD like it and apparently, I`m missing something because I don`t. Buzzuh?

The Tomorrow People - what do you know, it`s bland, generic and boring, too. Doesn`t help that I find the side guy both much hotter and way more interesting than the lead. Also, if said lead is supposed to be Stephen Amell`s cousin, why isn`t he at least hot? I know, shallow, table for one.

BBC`s Atlantis - it`s like Merlin got turned into a vampire and lots its soul. Seriously, why is this so boring? There isn`t even trashy fun and slash. That was all these writers ever managed and now they don`t even get this right.

Haven`t watched Reign yet but word of mouth ain`t so great to begin with anyways.

In terms of my returning shows, they all do okay right now. The only one I`m side-eyeing atm is Vampire Diaries. At least they explained one of the most boring romances in TV.

You should check out The Blacklist. It is anything but generic and boring.

It really is a great show, isn't it? Reddington is somewhat like Hannibal, but, yet, very different. Such a great character and wonderfully played by Spader!

I don't really know what to make of the show yet, but my brain insists that Alan Shore changed sides and - being as brilliant as he obviously is - became this top notch criminal named Red who now fucks with the FBI for kicks. (Because everyone needs a hobby.) :D
It's not boring so far IMO.

Okay, I`ll give it a shot. :) So far, apart from SH, this year`s crop of shows has been really disappointing.

Hope you like it. It's nothing extra-ordinary but the lead character is awesome, imo.

I stopped watching Agents of Shield. I know there are people who seem to like it, but i am starting to wonder if they are just telling themselves they have to like it because it is Whedon and everybody just wanted to like it...

I stipped watching Rhe Tomorrow People because I liked the sidekick, but find the main character just so very bland.

Saw the first 20 minutes of Reign, but the clothing, behavior of people and furniture was just so wrong for the time, i had to stop. Again, i wanted to watch becauae it has Anne of Green Gables and the hot cop partner from King.... but no.

Again.... got for The Blacklist!

I think everyone is just very confused because it totally misses Whedon`s usual quirks. I mean, I was bored to tears during the Pilot for Firefly, too, but couple episodes in, I could see it as a Whedon-show. This one? Blandy McBlanderson.

Ha, exactly.

Yeah, I read about that, the not recapturing the era`s feel.

Again.... got for The Blacklist!

Since everyone is reccing it, I`ve put it on my watch-list. :)

I liked the most recent episode of Agents of SHIELD. If that becomes the general quality of the show, I think it will be entertaining generic fun. Then again I'm completely absorbed in comic fandom (comics, movies, animated shows etc.) and am mostly happy that there's another part of that universe out there. I couldn't care less about the Joss Whedon aspect about it; I never got the hype about his person anyway.

Sleepy Hollow is just beautiful.

Haven`t seen the most recent Agents of Shield yet so your words give me hope that it might get better.

I still love comic book stuff and I was hyped for this because I thought Whedon did an exemplary job with the Avengers. And the best thing about his shows (minus Dollhouse) was IMO the character work.

Which is why I`ve been disappointed with Shield so far. Especially the geeks Fitzsimmons just get on my nerves rather than I find them endearing.

I like The Tomorrow People well enough but I'm much more interested in John, the leader of the Tomorrow People, than in Stephen. Stephen is an idjit with issues, not my cuppa. But John and his connection to Jed have me interested. I wonder if he's Jed's son - the actors look really similar - and thus Stephen's cousin...

Ditto about John. And I thought the same thing about them maybe being cousins. At least Jed probably "raised" John since John mentioned ditching him "half his life". Which, he isn`t that old.

Unfortunately, with Stephen being the lead and Chosen One and whatnot, I can already see the writing on the wall. And at this point I`m kinda over shows where I like the sidekick over the lead by far and it leads to nothing but ultra-heartbreak and annoyance in watching. Will probably lead me to drop this one sooner than later.

Oh, totally forgot to mention it. I watch it and so far like it. Not appointment tv yet but some of the mysteries they`ve set up, I`m genuinely into.
