In my quest to catch up on some shows I always wanted to check out but didn't yet get around to, I'm currently watching Haven. I had seen the Pilot some time ago but found it pretty boring so I didn't stick with the show. But as I'm marathoning now, I'm really getting into it.
Two thirds through Season 1 so far - and since the Seasons are each only 13 eps long, I decided on watching "unspoiled" because it shouldn't take long - I quite like the premise and the concept of the "troubles" itself.
The characters of Nathan and Duke are quite intriguing, the former because of his troubled status and the latter for his general aura of "there are secrets hidden in my closet, ask me how". I can't quite get a read on them, though. Sometimes they strike me as former friends who had a falling out, sometimes as just two people who never got along, sometimes like two people sharing a secret and sometimes as slashy like hell.
Main character Audrey, I like as well, however I wish her personal mystery would get going a bit faster. I don't need her or any character "grounding" the whole thing in normalcy and she obviously isn't all that "normal" either so I'd be happy for that story to pick up.
