Considering the latest episode of Grimm, I`m starting a betting pool on what Nick`s next super-power is going to be.

And, if they are going to shamelessly rip off Smallville to do it. *g* Because I`m pretty sure going "blind" for one episode led to the discovery of the super-hearing.

I wonder if other, more experienced Grimms know and have accomplished those or if the opportunity just never presented itself - in Nick`s case it was just a "lucky" accident. Neither his aunt nor his mother told him and there isn`t anything in the books. Maybe Grimms nowadays don`t know what they are actually capable of, the untapped potential.

Of course, I do see Ninja!Nick is alive and flying, too. :D If my eyes didn`t deceive me that was quite a fancy Wrestler move he pulled there. Ever since late Season 1, the character got a sudden upgrade in combat skills that didn`t come from any visible training I could see. Like the super-hearing, it just seemed to pop into being one day, under duress.

So, what neat abilities do you see Nick possibly getting in the future?

There was a dead giveaway in the episode itself: He'll be able to walk through walls in 3...2...1... ;)

Hehehe. Maybe they will start with see through walls first. And he will be all flustered and embarassed because he will see all kinds of naughty stuff. *g*

I think the enhanced senses are part of the magical Grimmish fighting skillz, and see no reason for hearing to be the only one. Now that Nick can see again, his sight should also be enhanced - infrared vision should be possible, for one thing.

Also, an incredible sense of smell would be useful, and would easily be discovered by a bit of training with a blindfold and earplugs.

This, though, they might leave for Monroe because Rosalee has taken on more of the role that Monroe had initially, Nick`s little encyclopedia for all things Wesen so Monroe bringing in some special Wesen skills.

I want Nick to get some more powers, just don`t want the "gang" to become superflouus in the process or just reduced to "emotional support/heart and soul/moral compass". Which is the bane of my existence in terms of "roles" for fictional characters right now.
