Last night, a (pretty much one-sided) conversation took place in my living room that went as follows:

Producers: "Okay, we screwed up the entire premise of our show due to writing that was out of touch with the basic principles of good storytelling."
Me: "I know, I watched your show."
Producers: "But there is still one thing we can kinda get right."
Me: "Ahahahaha... *45 minutes later* ... I`ll be damned."

I`m...I`m kinda inspired to write fic again. I haven`t felt that drive since well over a year. Maybe this time I`ll actually do it. Seriously, ants in the pants here. :D

A/M fic? In our time? Or in Camelot time? Slash or gen? You can tell i'm curious ;) And interested too cause maybe this time i'll find something to read.

I don`t know yet. Usually I prefer Camelot Canon so way back when I only wrote Merlin fic in that setting but now future AU IS canon, too so I`m undecided.

But if you`re looking for reading material now, here (http://frogspace.livejournal.com/284705.html) is a huge, huge list of Merlin recs, divided by genre and everything. I went through a lot of it last year and there is some great stuff in there.

As for the time in fics i just think that with that finale i don't know what can you tell in Camelot time? It kind of ended with Arthur's death and since i want to see him alive and with Merlin and no secrets between them present time sounds more logical.
