I'm on vacation for the next two weeks. Yeeeeeeeeessssssssss!

Initially, I had planned to travel but since I have something in November lined up and an Alaska cruise next year, doing two trips this year again would have made finances a little (read: lot) tight.

So, I do plan to catch up on some shows, get myself aquainted with my new Wii, maybe do a puzzle or two (it relaxes me) and possibly even write something. We'll see. The important thing is I don't have to swim through syrup anymore - okay, I have never really swam through syrup but, regardless, that is exactly how work has felt like for this entire fist half of the year.

Alaska cruise?

We had to book the cabin one and a half years in advance to get a good one. It's crazy. But I'm really looking forward to it, always wanted to do a cruise.

Do you have any travel lined up this year?

Nope, not as of yet. Since I'll be moving out this year I have to save up my money for that, and once I'm moved out money will be pretty tight, so maybe I'll never travel again :-). FilkConventions are my travel this year ;-) I *might* go to Pierrefonds for a few days in September and a friend's parents have invited her and her friends to stay at their apartment in Amsterdam in August, so I might do that. But alas, no bigger interesting travel plans.

Oh, now I am jealous because that is what I planned on doing around now-ish, going for a few days at least, but my friend couldn't make it and I didn't wanna go alone. :/

But I totally understand saving up money for a move. I considered it myself two years back but then my Mom proposed this idea to basically "separate" the house, her staying downstairs and me living upstairs since it's way too big for one person so we did that instead.
