I had dropped Ringer quite a while ago and my, it has not gotten any better. In fact, it's now pure and utter soap. However, they were gracious enough to give Misha Collins a role and plot with some emotional substance and the last scene between him and SMG was quite excellent, wonderfully acted by Misha in particular. Awww.

Now, I'd love him to guest on Vampire Diaries. Or have an "The End" AU show that features the star-crossed love of a former angel and a hardened leader of a survivor camp in a post-apocalyptic world. Think of all the cell phone jokes alone. *g*

I know. Unfortunately, I have no hope that SPN won't mangle his appearances beyond belief. It's bad when even Ringer has you beat.

They mostly are, though Misha will be back for three eps this Season - I fear the worst considering Samble hates the character and was gleeful to get rid of him - and technically since Lucifer is an angel, he is also occassionally around in the "suffered more than anyone in the universe ever" plot (which is an actual quote from Samble on whom you can guess).

Also I approve of the spin-off you suggested. MUCHLY :D

In any case, it would have been better than anything that happened in the last 2.5 years of the show.

I want Misha to get a role on a really cool drama show. He's not a bad actor, he could do it.

That would be wonderful. I'm in need of a good fantasy and/or sci-fi show anyway so a well-written one with Misha would be great. He certainly has the right flair for it IMO.
