Huh, my previously stolen wallet was sent to me by the city of Mannheim. Or the city of Mannheim sent it to my hometown and they sent it to me. Sans money of course. I`m still angry I had that extra cash packed. I had thought about leaving it at home. Damn. But at least my I.D. is back and I won`t have to get a new one. Same for the minor cards I haven`t replaced yet. So all in all a tiny "yay" I guess. :)

That new promo for 2.09 is weird, personally didn`t like it all that much, could look interesting to new viewers however. Might be misleading though. Now they only have to actually air it this week.

Well, I`ll take it as a learning experience of keeping better watch of my things. You know, fool me once and all.

The promo is very much like a horror movie trailer which could appeal to a broader audience I guess if they actually promote it enough. Doesn`t exactly give a good feel for the show though.

Did you watch the now infamous Croatoan clips from tv.guide? Gotta say the second one was hard to stomach. I wouldn`t have actually picked that one because it is dangerously looking out of context and as it is screams mind-buggling OOC-ness.

It really didn't feel like the show the way the other clips have. A jazzier version or something, like someone decided to run with a pet idea. Which is cool and all, but it was one of my least favorites promos.

And no, I haven't seen those Croatoan clips. I can't find them now. (Why are they gone, I wonder?) Sounds like Croatoan is going to be another Bloodlust-brand of viewing experience for me, but I'm keeping myself open to it. Who knows? I thought for sure I'd hate ELaC and No Exit, and I didn't.

Yeah, I heard that the clips were gone. Strange.

I`m slightly more positive having read that John Shiban wrote the episode instead of Edlund. Shiban while not my most favorite writer at least is familiar enough with the characters not to produce those levels of OOCness.

And apparently Bob Singer is directing which leds me to believe Dean`s cavalier attitude in that clip is intentional and has a purpose other than being WTF. After all Singer is all about the character moments so if this scene didn`t make much sense in the writing I think he would at least have Jensen played it torn and sympathetic and not: "Man, can I finally go shoot this guy now and have a sandwich?"

I thought for sure I'd hate ELaC and No Exit, and I didn't.

Well, I did hate "No Exit" with every fiber of my being. :) And I hated the parts in ELAC I was afraid of.
Bloodlust otoh I liked more than disliked.
