astri13You know, as I'm catching up on NCIS LA, I was instantly reminded of some cute little "when TV meets life" moment. On NCIS LA they had this little banter where Sam wanted to visit all the places from James Bond movies and Callen brings up that that would include outer space from Moonraker. To which Sam gave him that "jeeze, you had to bring that up, didn't you?" look.
Well, in my travelling group on vacation there was a guy who was talking about visiting Jordanien, mainly Petra because Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade had filmed there. And I asked him if he wanted to visit all the place from Indy which he confirmed. Then he went on to saying he also wanted to see all the places from Bond movies. Of course, I couldn't help myself and promptly mentioned Moonraker and its outer space location. And I swear I got that same "jeeze, you had to bring that up, didn't you?" look in return. Poor guy had no idea why that sent me into fits of laughter.
