Since most shows have reached the mid-Season mark by now, I'm going to do a little drive-by here going Monday to Sunday:

Castle - I was pleasantly surprised, had imagined show going in a different direction after how Season 2 ended but they are pretty much back to status quo and since I liked status quo, that's fine by me.

House - A mixed bag, mostly I think I'm watching out of habit still. I'm entertained sometimes but it doesn't trigger either a positive or negative emotional response in me.

NCIS - Also a status quo show for me but I still like it for the hour it's on. Then promptly forget what happened. :)

Criminal Minds - This one changed (though not of its own accord) but I still more or less like it.

Big Bang Theory - A couple clunkers here and there but for the most part this is my feel-good-show. Yup, they mixed it up a bit but while not everything might be a big hit, it doesn't actively offend me either.

The Vampire Diaries - Wow. Who would have ever guessed after the Pilot? I love how this show does plot and character work. Superior to about 99 % of things currently on TV IMO.

Supernatural - Was okay-ish with the start, hated it since around ep 6 or so and hope for better in the future. That said, not a single ep I feel compelled to rewatch this Season. Unlike TVD, I think the plot and character work stink to high heavens. Not to mention picking up the Smallville way for making me loathe characters. Kudos. Not. It's only because I've watched each and any crap Jensen Ackles has ever been in so far that this hasn't been drop-kicked to the curb.

Merlin - Season 3 was an improvement over Season 2 in some ways but Season 1 is mightily superior to both of them.

Still in the waiting line are: Fringe and NCIS LA.

I think I'm in need of a new show to really love but there hasn't been anything on the horizon.
