I...it has happened, I am signed up for my first official fic challenge over at
spn_harlequin. Now I know what I`d say to myself which is "Finish your fic from a year ago, fucker". And I have every intention to do this but I`m also proud of myself for having taken the plunge this time. Also I have a deadline for this baby so no weaseling out for another year. :)
Since this the theme is "harlequin" - which totally counts as one of my shallow, guilty pleasures - I will keep to some of the style and clichés of the genre so prepare to be "schmooped". :-p And yes, by its nature it has to be RPS. I`m breathing in a brown paper bag right now to calm myself.
However a schmoopy bodice ripper meeting the Supernatural fandom, especially a sub-genre I have never written a word in should in the best case scenario make for some hilarious CRACK. Worst case: abysmal crack. But it will be CRACK, rest assured.
Please wait with defriending until after you read it. It`s all
xkatjafx`s fault anyway. *g*
I have seen people "introducing" their prompt respectively their take on it in their ljs and I thought, why not. So this is the mission I have chosen to accept. ( Read more... )
And speaking of crack, I read the cutest thing today, the love story of a house cat, named Jared and a little hamster, guess how he was named. *g* Awwwwww.
