Thanks for telling me my opinion, buddy !

I recently read a Supernatural review where the reviewer stated that while he liked the storylines you couldn`t warm up to the characters.
Wow, the mind boggles. If I didn`t love these characters so much, I`d laugh some of the stories right off my TV screen.

Also he mentioned that while in need for a Supernatural show, surely audience would demand something more inventive and original like "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost"
Oh my, silly me, I`d never realized that DH is supposed to be a supernatural show. Well I guess that explains some of the otherworldly mysteries then, like why Susan isn`t getting beaten every episode for her annoying childishness, or why a mother of four still has model meassurements or how a spoiled trophy wife like Gabby would befriend people like Lynette and Susan in the first place.

As for the Lost-comment I`d like to introduce him to mareen to enlighten him on the subject what audiences would "surely demand".

I don`t have a problem with someone not liking this or any other show I favour but telling me what I would "surely" like better cracks me up. And not in a good way.

Personal rant

Okay, kleiner persönlicher rant zwischendurch.
Dampf kommt grad aus meinen Ohren und mehrere Blutgefässe in meinem Hirn sind glaub ich geplatzt.

Ich hab in den letzten Tagen im Rahmen einer Fandom-Meta-Diskussion folgende Lebensweisheiten lesen dürfen. Und das ist jetzt nicht etwa die übertriebene Version, das waren genau die Kernaussagen der Person:

1. Sich selbst stets an erste Stelle zu setzen ist toll und ein absoluter Ausdruck von Unabhängigkeit. Wer das macht ist ein Held.

2. Warum um Gottes Willen sollte man sich für eine anamorphe Masse von Menschen aufopfern, die man nicht mal kennt. Grund: Man KENNT die ja noch nicht mal.
Tja, Ärzte ohne Grenzen und andere Hilfsorganisationen, Nehmt das.

2. Man ist nicht verantwortlich für das Glück anderer Leute und sollte sich auch nicht darum scheren, deren Gefühle zu verletzen. Niemals. Sollen die Loser doch sehen, wo sie bleiben und froh sein, dass ihnen mal jemand zeigt, wo der Hammer hängt.

3. Es gibt Meinungen und Fakten (also ihre Meinung) und es gibt richtige (wieder ihre und alle, die ihr zustimmen) und falsche Interpretationen.
Und wer etwas anderes behauptet, sprich, ihr nicht zustimmt, ist ein moralischer Relativist.
