Time and time again what's appeared on the sides is really revised and changed by the time it gets to screen.
I know I have a tendency to be a little worry-head. :) And I couldn`t go cold turkey on spoilers if I tried, I`m much too impatient but I try to be more open and zen-like to it. And I`m really looking forward to all the episodes for which they`ve released spoilers now.
Yeah, SGA did a very similar episode and played it totally for laughs. I really enjoyed it and took it in the intent that they made it,but I know that alot of people found it offensive and weren't happy.
I realize that it is one of my personal sensitivity issues. I just can`t help thinking how I would feel if somebody could just make me his sock puppet, invade my mind and string me along to do whatever, humiliationg, physically harmful, sexual etc while I am helpless, forced to watch like I`m drugged. It`s one of my personal horror scenarios so I heavily empathize (maybe overly) with the victims and heavily despise the perpetrators.
