Hooray Tony Head let it slip that Merlin be renewed for a second Season. \0/
Now, a year to wait after what everybody describes as a major cliffhanger. Groan.

Of course on the other side of the pond, strike authorization ballots by the Screen Actor's Guild are supposed to go out after Christmas. With the process of counting and everything taken up to 30-45 days so news to be expected early February.

"We deserve a fair deal, wah wah." What you deserve is a kick in the ass, negotiation committee. And then another for good measure. I can only hope enough people with actual brains vote no. Last thing we need is another fucking strike, killing the entertainment industry for good.

Sadly yeah. The leaders of the Actor's Union are crazy, stomping their foot and demanding more, more, more.

don't they realize that if they dont that it wont matter if they get a deal because there will be no business left?

I'm not sure the people in charge really think that far.

Hopefully, the actual voting actors will show them where to stick it.

Yay for the second season! But boo for the 13 episodes/season format... I might get the dvds for Christmas in the end, or my birthday to the latest. I miss this show already!

And boo for the strike! Hopefully it won't happen.

Yeah, the short Seasons and long wait are a real drag with British shows.

And boo for the strike! Hopefully it won't happen.

It better not. We might as well kiss TV goodbye then. Okay, cable will probably survive and continue to flourish but network TV will die.

I'm not that fond of them either though at least we know there will be a Season 2. I had to be left with Series Finales on Cliffhangers.

The SAG leadership are greedy idiots, out of touch with reality.

Yeah, that' somehow is very inspiring thought :) Maybe this show isn't for deep thoughts but it entertains alright. :)

greedy idiots
I don't know about greedy but they're idiots for sure - at summer there was a time to negotiate and get what they want (and other side is greedy too) but right now? They won't get any support, they lost their chance to look victimized. I don't know with what are they thinking...
