Hm

First ratings seem to be in. Well, lower than I had hoped but not as bad as I had feared. And retention rate is decent with nearly 80 %.

Honestly why is Grey`s so popular? It`s just a hospital soap like any other hospital soap where the doctor`s wouldn`t know profesionalism if it bit them. "House" is a different kind of doctor`s show but GA is same old, same old.

While I think SV is a good lead-in I`d hope they would move both shows to another timeslot. Most of the CW`s shows are getting up there in years while SPN is relatively fresh and could make a good going on a better night IMO. I`m not worried about cancellation but more of the squanderin of potential.
Put 7th Heaven on Thursdays. Now there`s a show I`d love to see get crushed.

I really do hope they move SPN to a better slot. Putting it up against Grey's is just stupid. Given Denny's popularity last season, I think a lot of GA fans would've been willing to give SPN a try, just to see JDM again. Except now they CAN'T! Stupid CW!

GA is great show. It's soap only at first thought. It's wrong to compare it with SN. All exec of CW are wrong to put SN on thursday. What were they thinking? Really don't think they have a brain.

I watched the whole Season of GA and yes, I was entertained but beforehand I read all this stuff about how it is so original and so different and how the romantic entanglements of the interns would NOT be front and center. And sorry, that`s exactly what it was. Who does whom in the hospital. It`s not badly done but it`s nothing I haven`t seen like a million times before.
And it`s not realistically done either. If any real interns pulled half of what they do, they`d get fired.

And it was stupid to move it to Thursdays because now the two powerhouses GA and CSI are taking each other`s viewers. And good little shows like SPN suffer for it.
To be fair to the CW they had moved it to Thursday first, before the move of GA got announced. Now though, they would be better off moving the whole line-up to a different night.

As to GA I don't seek reality much in shows like that. As far it good drama. And watching Danny/Izzy r-ship in S2 was amazing.
As to move to thursday I don't know really bsd know that stuff but what they didn't like about tuesday? Is it really bad day for them?

That`s pretty much the only thing I`m looking forward to in Season 2. Otherwise I would have dropped the show as I was never into ER either and GA didn`t really grab my interest.

but what they didn't like about tuesday? Is it really bad day for them?

I think it had more to do with Smallville which had been moved to Thursdays last year for its fifth season and did well there. Sp they probably didn`t want to move it again.
Then they decided to put SPN behind SV and I agree it was a better fit than Gilmore Girls but so SPN got stuck Thursday at 9 pm. And then the GA move of death came to that timeslot.
Now GG is paired with Veronica Mars and they are both at their established time-slots so they weren`t gonna move it.

Best solution would be to put the whole block of SV/SPN on another night. Monday would be good IMO.

Monday? Where Prison break rules? Noooo. What about tuesday? I don't know much about all shows in us and can't tell properly what day will be better. Or maybe just move SN in time before SV? What do you think?
