I just saw a TV trailer for the second Mummy sequel and...There is a new Mummy movie? When did that happen? Where was I?
Seriously, I haven`t heard a blip about this until now. And they re-cast an actor, I hate it when that happens. :/ Also, it looks like they`re doing exactly the same thing they did in Indy IV.

They recasted someone? Who? All i knew about this sequel was that it's about something China-related myths.

Rachel Weisz won`t be in it though from the trailer it looks Evie will, just played by another actress.

No idea if Rachel didn`t want to do it or if they didn`t even ask her but I hate recastings like this. *stomps foot* Rick and Evie were always so cute together.

Totally agree! She's the main character for all deities sake! I mean - recast? If she didn't want to participate they should just write it in the script - like some accident or something but not recast her.
