Why oh why is that so damn expensive? It`s a cartoon explaining the inner workings of the body to kids basically and I loved it as a child. You had white blood cells hiding behind some "hills", watching the bacteria make a "bonfire" aka fever till they charged into battle. You had the red blood cells carrying air bubbles in little rucksacks. They explained the necessity for having shots by showing certain viruses carry swords - and evil moustaches :) - and the kid who had gotten the shot had antibodies who had swords as well while the kid who chickened out was left with weaponless red blood cells. The pain enzymes rode around the body on mean motorcycles, looking like the Hell`s Angels. Oh sweet, sweet nostalgia.

I think it was the only time that I found biology interesting! Out of curiosity, I checked on amazon.fr and it's only 30 euros in french. I don't know why the german version is so expensive, it doesn't make sense. *is puzzled*

Sadly that`s not that uncommon. Sometimes if I compare US or UK versions of stuff, the German one often doubles the price. Grr.

Unfortunately my French is way to meager for a TV show, even a kid`s one but I`ll have a look at ebay. Somehow I`m gonna get this and shamelessly relive my childhood. *g*
