There was tiny spoiler or rather non-spoiler? How do you call it when something is said NOT to happen? in the latest Ask Aussiello
Usually I wouldn`t bother posting it it`s so insignificant to any plot-issues going on but I LOVE it and I hope it`s true, now and always. Again reading that would likely not give anything away about any plot or real character issues, it`s more an extreme side-thing (though still important to me :)

Question: Do you know if anything will ever happen between Dean and Bela on Supernatural before we run out of new episodes? — Katrina
Ausiello: If by "anything" you mean "knockin' boots," the answer, per series creator Eric Kripke, is no. " Sorry, no Dean-Bela hookups. They hate each other too much. If anything, Bela becomes more antagonistic."

Please, please, please, let that always remain the case. They had Bela do things way too much over the line that I would buy Dean overlooking them - other than giving her the clichéd little redemption. She is near sociopathic, you already half-way write her that way, now drop the cutefying of it and it might actually work. Sociopaths aren`t cute and the heroes don`t think they have "style".

Sorry, Dean/Bela is my greatest squick. I find her to be a morally bankrupt and rotten person who embodies the things Dean loathes, not to mention committed acts he`d find unforgiveable - out of character reactions from him notwithstanding - and as such if he possesses the integrity he so far has she`d be a no-go for him.

That faux flirting and the fact that he frequently gets dumbed down to make her look better made "Red Sky" an atrocious episode for me. Sigh.

She is definately bad a person. But it's kinda confusing how they created her character...she's similar to Gordon character...seems friendly at first but turns out to be a complete asshole.

I think the problem was the writers trying to have it both ways, on one side she acts like an antagonist, committing near-evil acts yet on the other side the writers seem to want her to be seen as some kind of adorable, cute and not so bad to test out some romantical chemistry with Dean.

Well, that was doomed to failed. Either she is an antagonist or she is not. The idea of the character was good but so far the execution hasn`t worked. Needs a major overhaul.
