Yay, did watch all the Chicago panel clips finally and the cuteness is just on overload.

About the "incident" - I did feel bad for Jared because a) it was an awkward, non-flattering question in the first place (and non-sensical for TV) and b) the wording didn`t make it better. He looked kind of helpless for a moment and seeing as he seems to be an overgrown puppy who just wants to be fun for everyone, it wasn`t a nice thing to do. Makes me determined to say or make that stutter something very nice to him at Asylum. Provided he and I will be there. :)

But seriously so much sweetness all around. *squishes them*

Do you mean what happened? A fan who had been in line to ask Jensen a question when Jared came on stage and took over for his panel, then asked Jared, going "this was a question for Jensen and his answer would have been better" and then she basically asked him if he fucked up his lines in a scene in Bedtime stories and Jensen swooped in to save him.

He was very gracious about it but I felt uncomfortable watching it. And then Jensen came back on stage Jared asked him about it - obviously it had stayed on his mind - and they were whispering something to each other where Jared did look a bit hurt. Made me feel bad for him.
Nicely though Jensen in answering stood up for Jared.

Uh, I don't think it was that. IIRC, she wanted to ask Jensen a question from the time he was on Dark Angel but she quickly improvised with this one. That's why she said that. I think. But well, they joked about his answer about drunk!Jensen being better than Jensen's so... And if she did want to ask about that, it would have been better if she did ask Jensen because it was him who jumped in... I didn't mind that at all :D

What I minded was when Jared stepped on the stage with the "anonymous" question, the woman that yelled something at him and how he played all cringy...

I just thought the question ended up being all awkward because well, it implies he screwed up on the job. Not exactly what I would ask any actor. Why not ask if they did improv in that scene?
And there was enough time between Jared coming on stage and her being called on for her question.

Basically I just felt bad because later on Jared did sport a little hurt look. Of course the actors always make these things into jokes and play over them but I imagine it can still sting.

I didn't know about the 'incident' but may I ask which scene exactly in Bedtime Stories you're all referring to? It might well have gone unnoticed. I'm just not the perceptive type.

The one where they walk together - not the one with the frog, before that - and have that "it could be..." "or it could be..." "I got nothing" "me neither".

Uhm, can't say I remember anything...weird? about that scene but then again, it does happen a lot that I just miss things due to my not quite so satisfying English skills. Perhaps I'll re-watch the scene if I'm in the mood.

Embarrassing question to ask in any case...
