Wormhole established

astri13I know I`m hopelessly behind again but for everybody who remembers, I have a few question about Stargate Atlantis: Season 3 and wish to be spoilered.
Just watched the second episode with the Wraith-turned-demon and they had guys with the long white hair and some bald ones. Since Michael spoke about the Wraith warriors, are those the guys with the stuff over their faces? And do they not have hair which makes them the big. burly bald ones as humans?
Secondly, will Michael return? It`s nice to see Connor Trineer again.
Thirdly, will it never get better with the earth stuff? I didn`t mind them having some contact to earth again but right now whole chunks of the ep played out on earth in the Stargate center. They walk willy-nilly through the gate in one direction and fly back with the Daedalus, no big whoops. It takes away from the show. It`s like a slightly further normal Stargate mission.
I read somewhere that the producers want it to be DS9 and the fans want more Voyager as in being alone. Count me in the last group and even DS9 didn`t have so much earth stuff all the time.

I was okay with it in Season 2 but those first two eps of Season 3 was seriously overkill.

Carter? I`m kinda apprehensive there because I`m not so much a fan of the McKay-Carter stuff.
