I even kinda like Ash, cliché and all. If he could move away from the Roadhouse and the guys wouldn`t just conveniently call him for perfectly normal research, I`d like to see him become a geeky buddy for Dean. That`s what Dean could need: a buddy not a love interest. Look at Gordon, Dean looks for a peer to hang out with every now and then who isn`t Sam. Perfectly normal. Could even be - shocking - a woman.
