Heh. I wouldn't say that John was the best father ever, but I do love him. I think all of that is part of what makes him complex and interesting.
I meant it more as an example of shoving something by comparism. I for one had never believed that John beat or raped and rented out his kids (thank you, fanfic) so of course he was better than the Nightmare-Dad. But that had nothing to do with the beefs I had with him before and afterward. Even though after tonight`s episode I`m feeling the Papa-love in comparism allright. Comparism to the rudeness that is Ellen.
