Am currently making my way through some old Firefly episodes. War stories, how I love thee.
But since at the moment all my thoughts lead back to SPN somehow, I had a thought about the Season 2 premiere and a possible casting choice.

Wouldn`t Morena Baccarin be a good candidate for the Tessa-role? Physical description of raven-haired beauty would fit IMO. Also it`d be kind of amusing since she and Jensen already played love interests in the failed still life. Small world and all.

Yup, she is Inara. I could imagine her as a Reaper. It would sure be nicer for Dean than the last one he encountered. :)
Man, someone promised to upload the Still Life pilot and and I still haven't found it *whines*
I haven`t seen the whole thing, just a few clips since I only have a dial-up connection anyway.
One clip had Morena and Jensen in it and they seemed to have chemistry.

I`ve liked the actress in Firefly, hadn`t heard of her before. And she is really shy and self-conscious about her looks in real life too, so she can bond with Jensen over that. *g*

But in hindsight I spot a lot of the actors in smaller pieces, Kaylee was in this Canadian show with Hayden Christensen, Wash was in a "Knight`s Tale" (and I never made the conncetion until later) and Mal was in some vampire movie.
Oh, and of course I recognized Summer Glau from her stint on Angel.

She played the ballerina in Waiting in the wings, the ballet ep. Was her first acting job, I think since she really is a ballerina.

Yes, I only saw a few snippets. It also had Kandyse McClure who got to paw Jensen`s face in Dark Angel and Meghan Ory who was his love interest in the Alec woobie episode. This Canadian actor`s pool is somewhat limited, methinks. :)

As much as I would hate for some Mary Sueish tough ass hunter chick to become a regular, I`d go for Eliza doing a guest stint as one. Could be a little shout out to Faith. Hell, it could be Faith. *g*
