Helix is a perfectly serviceable little Sci-Fi show - I tend to love premises like this for movies - but why in all the heavens does it have elevator music for credits???

Not only doesn`t it fit this show thematically at all, in my entire life I`ve never seen a show that would have benefited from an elevator musical theme. That music is weirder than anything going on in the show.

I get the thought behind it but it just completely takes me out of the atmosphere. Which, granted, it isn`t long. Maybe I just have a deep-seated aversion to elevator!music I just can`t overcome. :D

I'm loving the show, much more than initially. The main guy seems a little boring but all the chicks are awesome. Ruthless badass lady scientists, yay!

Felt bad the vet was killed, I really liked her, but you could see it coming early on in the story.

I do comment on the weirdness of the music to the OH every single episode. At this point I think my comments are annoying him more than the music.

I loooved the vet, she was a cutie. Kind of sulking that they offed her, but I suppose it was inevitable since she wasn't a standardized Hot Chick in a White Coat. (I like the other ladies, they're great, but a lot more conventional in their appeal.) Mind you this is SF: she could still come back, even without black goo involvement, you never know.
