Of course they needed it as a plot point later when he defended Nathan from Jordan but it was great nonetheless.
AND THE HUG!
It was glorious and wonderful. Especially how Duke didn`t expect such a welcome and then he was delighted. Whereas Nathan was so, so deliriously happy that he hadn`t killed the two people he cared for most. Was heartbreaking when he looked around for Audrey, though, and realized she wasn`t with Duke.
I`m just so happy that they are on good terms now. Last year was really...trying.
