All things in a Season...
Seeing as most shows have played out their Seasons by now, I thought I'd be doing a very quick review. So, here goes:
House - found the Season mostly "eh" and I'm pretty much only staying with it for completist reasons and the occasional House/Wilson now, only question: how and why can there legitimately be a Season 8 now?
Castle - Season was okay but I had lots more fun last year and I don't enjoy when the show goes too heavy (or 24), for me it's perfectly alright as fluff
NCIS - again, okay-ish Season but I think what I enjoyed most was the distinct dialing back on Tony the goof in the last couple of episode, whoever is responsible for that? THANK YOU. Man, there is fun and there is carricature.
NCIS LA - really enjoyed the Season, like the addition of Deeks and it's basically my "mindless fun action" show these days
Criminal Minds - see House and the completist reasons, also spy-plots? I will say one thing, this show has put the fear ofGod home invasions in me, seriously, I'm terrified of them now, especially being tortured
Criminal Minds - Suspect Behaviour - yup, I watched it and yup, one more to go, also yup, it got cancelled - splendid, I might have otherwise stayed with it out of sheer whateverness
Big Bang Theory - mostly fine but not as funny as previous Seasons IMO
Community - had a blast mostly and I totally want to play paintball or Dungeons and dragons
Vampire Diaries - great, great plot-show for me, stuff happens all the time, it's tight and I really enjoy it
SPN - oh well, not my cuppa tea, thought the beginning was okay-ish, then from 6 or so to 14 it sucked in various degrees (majorly in 9, 10 and 13), then it became okay-ish again for 15-20 and sucked again in the final two. What cracks me up however is that with such a wildly compatitive fanbase, no large faction seems truly happy in general. I mean, if you have diametrically opposing viewpoints and tastes and likes, it stands to reason that you make at least one side happy and the piss the other(s) off. Or not. Heh. In any case, I consider this a bottom feeder Season though the I didn't hate any episode as much as Suck Song so there is that.
A couple of shows are being held for marathon watching still to come like Fringe, White Collar, Leverage etc. Oh, and I did finish Stargate Universe - um, well, Season 2 was better than 1 until they did the pseudo-Borg thing. But I really, really miss having a true Sci-Fi show around. *wails*
