DVD Talk and the coming Apokalypse

My Mom who never really watches a TV show with any interest, more like background noise and even those I remember her liking from when I was younger, she declined my offer to gift her with the DVDs, has purchased Bones Season 1 DVD. Seriously the only show she owns is "Ein Herz und eine Seele".

I had few absolute beliefs in life but her cynical and utter disinterest in most things TV was one of them. Now I feel betrayed and unsure about my place in life. :( *g*

I know she wants the Australian comedy Hey Dad on DVD but it`s not fucking out anywhere. Sigh.

In other DVD news Tripods looks to come out soon, both Seasons with Extras. God, that show scared the hell out of me as a kid. But in a good way.

And Supernatural Season 2 the region 1 DVD will be out on Sept. 11th. With a gag reel - yay and commentaries - yay. Please just freaking more than two. I love commentaries. I understand Jensen and Jared not having time to do much but WRITERS, DIRECTORS, Co-STARS? Speak the hell up. I especially like commentaries on bad episodes because it`s nice to listen to what the hell they were thinking.

Also does anybody know about Extras for the Heroes DVD? I know there are online commentaries but due to my internet situation I haven`t been able to listen to them. Hopefully they`ll be on the DVD. Also what about this web comic I`m hearing about? Anyone? Bueller?

I haven't listened to everything but you should check out the commentaries with Sendhil Ramamurthy, Zach Quinto, Greg Grunberg and/or Jack Coleman. As far as I remember the Milo/Greg Grunberg was good, too. But Zach Quinto and Milo was boring because they are both rather silent people. However, Zach Quinto/Sendhil Ramamurthy was great, same goes for Sendhil Ramamurthy/Greg Grunberg.
