I guess, it was too good to be true to get both of them at once. The J2 experience. Now I have to go con-hunting again. Which would actually be better if I had some MONEY. *headdesk*

If Jensen has to cancel too I don`t know if I`ll go. Pretty expensive weekend. :(

Nicki Aycox doesn`t sound like a bad guest - especially since I`ve grown to like Meg in hindsight.

But really even if they got JDM it wouldn`t fully make up for it. I wanted Sam and Dean. *wails* And they won`t get JDM anyway.

Stupid fucking Kincade. Did you need to do your Hallmark biography right NOW. Damn.

Oh I am so sorry for you! I really dithered over this con, especially as it's so close to me,literally a 20 minute drive. The trouble is I've been burned too many times by actors cancelling at the last minute. I understand why it happens, but it's just all to expensive nowadays to take the chance. I think they book the cons with good intentions, it pays well, travel to a foreign country and it fills in some time in the hiatus, but then some work comes up and they drop the con to do the work. It's a win/win situation for the actor, but a very dodgy one for the fan. I don't blame them for taking the work, but I got mighty tired of paying out hundreds of pounds for tickets and hotel rooms for actors I didn't really want to see.

I have been pretty lucky so far with Cons. Only one time an actor pulled out I really wanted to meet and then I met him a year after so maybe I had gotten spoiled. :/

It`s still gonna be Jensen there which is fabulous and I really look forward to meeting him but Supernatural more than probably any show I`ve ever seen lives off the dynamics of the leads and Jared + Jensen seem such close friends too, having them together would have been a dream.

I do think Jared will go to other conventions in the future but I`m not sure if there will ever be a J2 opportunity again. I even had my double photoshoot all pre-booked. Which gets refunded but right now I feel really saddened. :(
I do understand work taking priority though.
