Sigh, Rolli, our cat, is missing and I`m really starting to get worried for him. I mean he is a tomcat and all, he would probably go courting at this time of the year but he is small and handicapped, he won`t stand a chance if he gets into any fights. :(

My brother also watches Doctor Who with me, and Torchwood, and LIfe On Mars - it's pretty cool. We run our SPN Website together actually :-)

I jst thinkit's funny because - I thought he liked SPn because of the music and the car and the coolness but no - he actually really, really cares for the characters and even metas them O_O

I can`t imagine enjoying SPN and not caring for the characters. The plots aren`t all that new and I hardly ever get scared watching but the charas gripped me.

I pimped it out to some friends. My best friend watches it and likes it but she`ll never be a fandom-fan. I gave her episodes 5-8 last year in November and she only just now watched the last 2. She just doesn`t get into TV-shows that deeply.

Otoh two other friends of mine watched the whole first Season in about 3 days I think.

Tia and I watched season one in ... two or three days, yes. I alsofixed up some other people :-)

The plots might not be new for you but they certainly are for me! Also, like I said, you could be watching for the overall atmosphere, you know?

I don`t mean the actual cases so much as the writing overall, it`s pretty straightforward. Which isn`t even a bad thing but if I hated the characters I would not watch for the plots. :)

As for the atmosphere the poor show had to overcome that with me since I hate road movies, am not really into horror movies and don`t like Mullet Rock. *g* Back when Buffy ended and these rumours were going around about a spin-off with Faith driving across-country and hunting things I thought: what a crap-idea. :)
Just found the whole concept boring.

Now I love them cruising around (though I still hate road movies), the Chevy Impala is the only car brand I recognize and I`ve been surprised with myself how much of the music I liked. But it really comes down to the charas for me.

Famous last words, eh? :-p

I always liked old cars, and I love the darkish setting of the show, and I loved the music. But agree, without Sammy and Dean I probably wouldn't watch it either :-) The other stuff is like the cherry on top :-)

(Dude I'm almost done with chapter 15 and this one nearly killed me...what a bitch to write...)

Hee, it is true: never say never. :)

I love the darkish setting of the show,

I love the grittyness too. It`s more serious in tone.

Is Dean getting properly tortured? *is nosy*

It's more like the Big Demon Speech but Dean gets tortured a little, yes :-) (This chapter felt a little like the Emperor's speech to Luke in Return Of The Jedi *headdesk*)

Oi, what about YOUR fic?
