Hee, the German version has found the antidote against Missouri`s abrasive bitchiness - she sounds like Daisy Duck. I mean she is still an insufferable shrew and all but it`s impossible to take her seriously. *g* And Dean is still a saint for not only putting up with crap, where I would have told my actual mother let alone some stranger to STFU, but helping her down the stairs.

Bei "the dead rose" ist es ja phonetisch als auch ortographisch gleich, allerdings, wenn man sich mit dem Inhalt der Folge beschäftigt hätte wäre es ziemlich klar gewesen, was Xander da meinte...

Oder, das ist mir letztens bei "She's All That" begegnet - der lief auf ProSieben, also habe ich mal ein paar Minuten auf Deutsch geguckt.

Original:

Er: "I'm Jesse. I can't dance."
Sie: "I'm Mack. I go to school with 400 chicks."

Synchro:

Er: "Ich heiße Jesse. Ich kann nicht tanzen."

Da war sicher jemand mit der Anspielung überfordert.

SG1 hatte doch auch dieses tolle Dinge wo Jack meint: "Burns as a Goa`uld" weil er großer Simpsons-Fan ist. Und im deutschen sagt er dann völlig non-sequitur: "brennt wie Goa`uld".
Kein Wunder, dass alle blöd gucken.

Ich find`s auch sehr schön, dass das mit dem Du und Sie nie wirklich klappt. Jahrelange Freunde siezen sich im Deutschen immer noch *cough* Tom und Harry *cough*.
