I have put off on watching Cult because I wasn`t sure it would take and it sucks to get invested in a soon-to-be-cancelled venture (at least if you are watching afterwards, you know what you`re getting) and that looks to have been a wise decision because the show has, indeed, been cancelled.

So, two questions:
1. To anyone who has watched, is it worth checking out still?
2. Can Alaric now please come back to TVD?

I watched the first ep. It was rather meh, but not without potential. I keep meaning to watch the other eps, but I haven't found the motivation yet... which I suppose says a lot. ;-)

I'd also like to know if the series gets better!

The first three or four episodes were okay, sometimes even good .. then it started to move into directions that made me lose interest.

I also really don't like the way it's directed, designed and cut. It's so... 2005.

So, I don't really mind that that's over. The idea would not have worked the long way round anyway. It's like The Following... it's gets old very quickly.

The only new show which actually has real potential is Vikings IMO.
