I still find it miles better than SPN which I hate to degrees that are unhealthy now (and even that I didn`t stop completely though, as always, tonight might be the episode I do).
However, TVD only irritates me atm and I still see ways for the show to get its act together again. It has enough characters/plots that a few things I like are still around. I`m gonna see how the Season ends and what they set up for next year. Maybe it will be like Buffy where S4 annoyed the crap out of me but I genuinely loved S5.
