I completely agree. This episode was a waste, filled with character assassination of Merlin and Arthur both as persons and as king and powerful warlock. The whole thing was brimming with recycling of tiresome plot points (including the would-be comic relief). I actually am amazed that they manage to write something so uninspiring. Rather this than magic reveal, eh? Incredible.
