Oh but then we couldn't have the endlessly boring episodes of always-the-same-scenarios!? Forgive me, writers, I didn't realise that.

I never got the impression the writers liked the character much (or have any good sense of actual humour) but it really, really went over the top here.
Eh, all in all, I deeply prefered the last Season. It had its faults, too, but I don`t think the characters suffered as badly as they are now in the writing. :(
