Getting caught up on my Friday shows

I watched the last two episodes of

While Peter`s Observer-transformation finally kicks the storyline into gear and his new powers are waycool to watch, I sure hope they can fix this. And that he won`t lose his beautiful hair. Noooooooo. There are limits on what I consider acceptable sacrifices for saving the world, you know. *g* - Holy crap, people

So Nick knows about Juliet and Renard though not yet about Renard`s origins/status in the Wesen world. I hope they somehow manage to resolve this stupid love triangle, after all, the only reason Renard tried to help Juliet in the first place was to keep Nick around and manage to work together somehow. I get that Renard is somewhat of a shady character but I always thought he was genuinely good at his job and him and Nick have a great rapport.

Also, Nick (and Monroe) taking on the Verrat assassins like that? Wow, Nick sure is building up his reputation. In the beginning of the show, it always struck me as so funny when Wesen would go "`ZOMG!Grimm" and shaking in their boots in front of sweet, easy-going Nick who hadn`t harmed a fly at this point. But these days? He seems to have aquired some ninja-fighting skills and I don`t know, superstrength? Because at first it sure looked like stronger Wesen bitch-slapped him around like any old human but now they seem equally matched if not Nick stronger when they fight. Like, you`ll see a Wesen slap around the much bulkier Hank but Nick is barely fazed by a punch. Anyone else notice that? - Another holy crap, here

and
Aww, Duke, I just feel for him. He is trying SOOOO hard this Season and things just never really seem to work out in his favour. And his running sarcastic commentary on things? Great.

I was happy to see Nathan treat him better when they were stuck in the past. Seemed to come out of nowhere though considering the Season so far. Oh well, I take what I can get.

Nathan is the father of the Colorado kid then? Not sure how I feel about that. While Sarah is Audrey on some level, they are also different enough that romantically substituting one for the other should be wildly problematic. On some level, it proved that Nathan pretty much wants Audrey first and foremost still - and poor Jordan who seems to genuinely care for him, not realizing she isn`t the "one" - but getting with Sarah is kinda like boinking a twin of the one you really want.

Oh, OT3, what am I supposed to be doing with you? *flaily hands* - oh we`re closing in on the Season Finale now *wibble* but did you hear, renewed for S4? \o/

respectively.

I knew I would have a hard time with this Season of Fringe because I can only take dystopian futures like this in small doses and this almost robotic society, controlled by the Observers is testing my limits.

But the first few episodes seemed like treading water so much, I was just happy something seems to be progressing. Somehow I don`t think they will go for a really bad, tragic ending. Peter is most likely going to be saved at the last minute. With Peter and Olivia finding each other again for real.

Till then I enjoyed getting the chills as he started talking like an Observer at the end of the episode. Josh is doing a great job IMO with the facial tics and the speech patterns.

My prediction would be for them to stop the invasion before it happened and basically getting back in time to where they were a happy family with little Etta. Cheesy I know but this show started with a father destroying the fabric of the universe because he couldn`t handle the loss of a child and slowly getting his redemption. I think the next generation should get their reward as well.

If a character truly is to die at the end of the show, my predictions would be Walter but even there I would give it a 30:70 chance only.

Out of all my shows this year and ultra-tragic endings, I`m only getting really frantic for Merlin right now. *breathes in paper bag*

To be honest, my expectation for the ending will be one of them going back in time to stop Walter from getting Peter from the other Universe. Because if you get down to it, it all starts with that, considering it now seems as if Peter is the first Observer. So no Peter, no Observers. No Observers, no Observer who deflects Walternate, so Walternate actually comes up with the cure for Peter, Walter doesn't cross over to save Peter...a whole new Timeline starts.

It's sad for Peter and Olivia, but the best for the rest of the universe.

I don`t know. It`s a possibility and Windmark smiled a little seeing him but I don`t see how Peter starting the Observers would work. And if he did, why did they genuinely try to erase him from the timeline after Season 3?

My understanding is that the Observers always would have come to invade, unrelated to Walter`s actions at the beginning of the show.
