I liked the doctor character, too and the actress did a decent job at least. The Google guy has the potential to become interesting but as you said everything point to comic relief.

I'm somewhat annoyed with the son (Danny?) from his behaviour I would have thought he's 14 (16 if I'm generous) but apparently he's 19? *rollseyes*
