In my quest to catch up on some shows I always wanted to check out but didn't yet get around to, I'm currently watching Haven. I had seen the Pilot some time ago but found it pretty boring so I didn't stick with the show. But as I'm marathoning now, I'm really getting into it.

Two thirds through Season 1 so far - and since the Seasons are each only 13 eps long, I decided on watching "unspoiled" because it shouldn't take long - I quite like the premise and the concept of the "troubles" itself.

The characters of Nathan and Duke are quite intriguing, the former because of his troubled status and the latter for his general aura of "there are secrets hidden in my closet, ask me how". I can't quite get a read on them, though. Sometimes they strike me as former friends who had a falling out, sometimes as just two people who never got along, sometimes like two people sharing a secret and sometimes as slashy like hell.

Main character Audrey, I like as well, however I wish her personal mystery would get going a bit faster. I don't need her or any character "grounding" the whole thing in normalcy and she obviously isn't all that "normal" either so I'd be happy for that story to pick up.

[livejournal.com profile] killabeez rec'd the Hell out of that show a few months ago so I randomly started watching and found I really liked it. It's not particularly groundbreaking, or scary, or thrilling, but I genuinely like the characters, including Audrey (which I did not expect) and the hints and references to Stephen King and his universe they keep dropping :-)

And I really love Nathan.

And I have a huge thing for the opening credits. They're so atmospheric and I love the tune they use.

I liked S1 but I liked S2 much better! And don't worry, the backstory of Nathan and Duke's relationship will be explained. Nathan is such a woobie, aww...

When i started to watch s1 i dropped it too cause of it being too slow. But then i decided to watch again after i saw s1 finale. I watched s2 when it was aired and can't wait for s3 to start. My fav is Audrey and i won't spoil you but s2 gives her story more interesting bits.

It took me a while to get into the show, but I really love it now. I liked Season 2 more than Season 1 though, because then - and during the latter half of season 1 - I thought it really all came together.

I love all three characters. They are my OT3.

I should add that this seems to be the only show where the almost-OT3 is as good as canon.

I love them, they have such an old Western feeling to them.

And I really love Nathan.

Me too. He is my fave. :)

I loved it when he, after figuring out he could feel Audrey's touch, tried all these little things to feel it again, shaking hands etc.

Have finished Season 1 and am knee-deep in Season 2 now, it really is quite fascinating.

I'm in the middle of Season 2 now and you're right, the Audrey story has picked up quite nicely. Am very interested to see where it all goes.

I love all three characters. They are my OT3.

It's incredibly cute how they always go to Duke for help and he puts up a token protest before, of course, helping. And all their banter and bickering with each other, makes me go all "aww".

i love the show for not going for the quite obvious "cop falls for the bad guy" storyline during season 1. instead when something finally happened between two characters it felt totally organic and earned. now the next logical step would be a threesome, because this is very obviously a story of saving the world through the power of their threesome love. ;-)

I did. :D And since I liked all three, Nathan, Duke and Chris, it was pretty heartbreaking to (expetedly) watch each of them die during a repeat day. And the ending was quite sad.

Maybe I'll be able to finish the Season tonight. Only five more eps to go. *rubs hands*

Awww.

It would be quite fitting because normally I'm very OTP. I have my "couple" and that's it but this time I would feel really, really bad for either Nathan or Duke if they were on the outside looking in. Heck, I even liked Chris and Chris/Audrey - knew it couldn't last because that was one too many - but I found the groundhog day ep and its ending very moving for being invested in all the characters involved.
