I have no idea. This Season has been good with the Arthur/Merlin friendship and bonding moments, don't get me wrong but to me this is would have been a huge thing. If he had given Merlin some random ring or something, okay, but something of Igraine's? Can't get bigger than that for Arthur. head-desk
