Okay, if my email provider supposedly sents me an email (with some spelling errors to boot), claiming that due to technical problems they need to verify my account or they'll haveto delete it and asking me to email back my full name, username, PASSWORD and country of origin, it IS a phishing attempt right?

Odd, I have never gotten anything like this before.

Oh yeah, that's classic phishing. Your e-mail provider should never ask you for your information like that. AVOID.

Never send personal info! even if ur email account "asks" for it! If they delete it, then u can always start a new one!

It most certainly sounds like a phishing attempt.

I'd say it's suspicious. I wouldn't email anything. Call there and ask if they even sent anything like that.

I get these emails all the time, just mark it as spam. If it really worries you send yor email provider a message
using there abuse/ complaints procedure.
